2009
With a squad which included 14 freshmen and sophomores out of 34 and a very competitive schedule, the 2009 Trojans enjoyed an outstanding season by winning 17 of 21 games and capturing their fourth straight Nassau County Class B Championship. Defense was the key with seniors Reid Rosello Dan Niebler and Pierce Bradley combining with sophomores Brian Fischer and Stephen Jahelka to form an excellent unit. Goalies Chris Connors and Brendan Engelke shared playing time and allowed just 4.5 goals per game. Will Fuller led all scorers with freshman Devin Dwyer the primary feeder. Seniors Mike Lind and Vin Chiodo led the middies with support from Patric Berkery, Matt Montgomery and Kevin Dachille. With a strong 75th season behind them, the Trojans will return an outstanding nucleus of players next year.
